A delicious biscuit cup stuffed with Cheddar Kraft Natural Cheese and BBQ pork, then baked to perfection! Great for a holiday appetizer or a meal.
Can you believe we are already almost to December? I am sitting here shaking my head because frankly, November flew by for me, and I am sure December isn’t going to slow the pace much. In fact, it will probably be even busier.
With holiday parties, and time off from school, I am sure December is going to prove just as busy. One thing I always love when I have a busy schedule is super easy meal ideas, snack ideas, and party appetizer ideas. And today’s recipe works for all 3!
I am really excited to share it with you. I was shopping and saw Pork Roasts on sale for like $1.79 a pound so I bought a big one, tossed it in my slow cooker with a bottle of BBQ sauce, and then let it cook. When it was done, I shredded it, drained off the fat, and tossed it in more sauce. Then I had a big bowl of BBQ pork and tons of possibilities. One of my favorite things to do with pork is pair it with Sharp Cheddar Kraft Natural Cheese, whether that is in tacos, burritos, nachos, or something else.
Today’s recipe was in something else. I grabbed a can of biscuit dough, you know…the premade kind? And decided to make “cupcakes” filled with stringy, gooey, cheese, and tender, moist, bbq pork! So with literally only 3 ingredients I give you these beauties:
I mean, look at this soft and fluffy biscuit stuffed with Sharp Cheddar Kraft Natural Cheese, and delicious pork. Don’t you just want to sink your teeth in? I am pretty sure if you were to take this to a holiday party you would be the hit! No one has to know that it took about 5 minutes of your time, and only 20 minutes to bake.
Hey, I am a busy woman! Running kids here and there, working all the time, and trying to fit in a moment to sleep and eat, having something that is both impressive and delicious is always a plus for all those holiday parties.
I am going to let you in on a little secret! To make things easy and even faster on the day of, make your pork in advance. BBQ pork freezes really well. So prepare for that crazy busy party time, and make a bunch of BBQ pork now. Divide it into smaller portions, and put it in quart sized freezer bags. Then just pull out what you need the day of the party!
Then you get these awesome light, fluffy, and delicious pork cups filled and topped with Sharp Cheddar Kraft Natural Cheese! Yum.
Look how easy these really are:

Cheesy BBQ Pork Cups

Instructions

- Spray a 12 cup muffin tray with non-stick cooking spray
- Place one piece of biscuit dough in each cup, and press down the center
- Sprinkle the bottom with Cheddar Kraft Natural Shredded Cheese
- Use already prepared BBQ pork (I cooked mine in the slow cooker with some BBQ sauce) and put a heaping tbs into each cup. There are 16 tbs in a cup, and you want to evenly spread the cup of shredded pork across the 12 cups.
