This is not a recipe for real souffle, but this fake chocolate souffle tastes amazing, is super easy to make, and is perfect for celebrating Valentine’s Day!
Souffle, it is one of those scary food items that everyone is afraid to make. Well, I have to say that I too am a little afraid of making real souffle, so I decided to make fake souffle. Souffle any home cook can make. Souffle that is actually just brownies that I cook a little differently. But trust me, it is still as delicious as a “real” souffle. Oh geeze. I sound like a crazy person. And maybe I am, crazy for fake souffle!
I love a decadent chocolate dessert, and a souffle is exactly that. So if you are looking for something truly yummy, and equally easy to make for Valentine’s Day this is it!
Even when I make fake souffle it falls a little in the middle. But don’t worry, it just shows I am human. Not that you were wondering, but just in case. So I hope you can really enjoy your holiday. Any fun plans? My hubby and I got a couples massage, ate cheesecake, went for a soak, and then home to relieve the babysitter. We went early because the husband is working on Valentine’s Day! But our early Valentine’s Day was amazing!
Whatever you do, I hope it is fun, and I hope it involves this yummy treat. Okay, so see how the center is all sunken in on this one? The awesome thing about this fake souffle is if that happens, you can just pop it back in the oven for a few minutes, and it will get all puffy again, and if it cooks just a bit longer, it will work beautifully. Now, every oven is a little different, and I just got a new element in mine, since my other one brunt up, so keep that in mind and adjust your cooking time to your oven’s quirks!
