You guys! It is National Cookie Day! How cool is that? We have a day for celebrating cookies.
Tis’ the season for cookie celebrations. One of my favorite parts of the holidays are the cookie exchanges. I don’t know about you guys, but I barely have time to breathe during the holidays, let alone bake. Ok, so even if that is not totally true, sometimes it is just nice to not have to worry about making everything from scratch? Do you feel me?
I want to be able to head to those cookie exchanges, holiday parties, and neighbor treat drop offs with confidence, and not have my kitchen be destroyed in the process. Yes! It is possible.
That is why today I want to show you one of my favorite tricks for impressive holiday cookies without all the work! But before I let you in on my secret (so secret), I have to tell you guys something SO exciting:
Otis Spunkmeyer is releasing a new retail line in 2016!!! You know what I am talking about, those amazing cookies, those tasty bakery goodies available in retail! This new line has loaf cakes, snack cakes, muffins, cookies, cupcakes, and cookie dough! Trust me you want to get in on these when they are released. I got to try out the line, and not only do they taste awesome, they have “no funky stuff”! What does that mean? No artificial colors or flavorings, no high fructose corn syrup, and no artificial oils or over-processed oils.
So, let’s get to the secret to holiday relaxation: Semi-homemade! Another family favorite cookie for your sweet tooth are these no bake cookies.
Yup! No matter the holiday, not matter the task, semi-homemade is going to be your bestie! And when your semi-homemade starts with Otis Spunkmeyer you are going to be one happy camper.
I always head to those parties and cookie exchanges with impressive cookies. Even when I am short on time!
Basically I take great cookies, and add even more fun goodies! Let me show you show easy it is:
