Soft buttery pretzel bites. Just like what you would get at the ball game. The perfect appetizer, snack, game day food. It is a soft, but chewy, crispy outside, pillowy inside, and oh so delicious.
Serve with Roasted Poblano Cheese Sauce or Homemade Marinara for an awesome dipper!
Can you remember the first soft pretzel you ever tried? I do! It was at Costco. I grew up in a home where Costco was the main place we shopped, whether it was for shoes, food, clothes, books, or whatever. I mean, if Costco didn’t carry it, chances are I would not get it.
So I had this amazing pretzel, and went home and thought about it, and thought about it, and then asked my mom when the next time she was going would be. I think my mom may have mentioned it to my neighbor, who worked there, and she brought one to me! Haha, so my pretzel obsession started young, and was fueled by some amazing women.
I am so lucky I can now make them myself, as I don’t get to Costco as often as I want pretzels. So let’s get to the recipe so you too can enjoy soft pretzels!
Just remember, I made these savory, but you could totally leave out the garlic salt or other spices, and roll them in cinnamon and sugar after baking instead. Which is amazing, so try that too!
