Friendsgiving
I love a good appetizer, and plan to serve this hummus appetizer at our annual Friendsgiving as a filling, seasonal, and tasty way to tied everyone over until we get to the feast.
Friendsgiving is all about bringing people together!
And what is a better way to do that than great food with people you love?
Gather your friends to celebrate everything that’s awesome in life: Good friends, good food, and good times shared around the table.
While Thanksgiving tends to be more structured and traditional, Friendsgiving is more relaxed, and gives you the opportunity to mix things up, incorporate your own flair, and accommodate the personal tastes of your guests.
In other words, Make it yours. Just like hummus.
I loved taking this Classic Hummus and adding my own spin. Thank you Sabra!
This year, Sabra is here to help you bring your friends together over this new tradition — with flavor and fun, for everyone on your guest list. So add this fun hummus flight to your menu, and add your own favorite mix-ins and toppers to make it yours!
What will you add to your appetizer?
Celebrating with great food
I am a foodie at heart, so you don’t have to convince me that food plays a pivotal role in making or breaking a celebration. But one thing I love is how food can enhance and highlight your theme. For example, I want everyone to feel included and apart of our Friendsgiving gathering. So creating a flight of different hummus flavors that include the preferences of all my guests is a great way to do that.
Here are a few more fun ideas for ways to change up your hummus and make it yours for your Friendsgiving for All:
- Add roasted butternut squash and herbs.
- Add sautéed apples and brown sugar for a sweet treat.
- Flambé some pears and add a little salty gorgonzola.
The possibilities are endless!
