Can You Eat Eggs On Keto?
Absolutely! Eggs are in fact one of the common foods that come to mind when thinking about meals you can eat for breakfast on a keto friendly diet.
One large egg consists of less than one gram of carbs. Eggs are filling and low in carbs, resulting in the egg being a great food choice.
Also just to clarify, unlike with other diets sometimes, on keto you can eat the whole egg, both the egg whites and yolk. So don’t hesitate, dig in and enjoy the common breakfast food, the egg.
How To Make Low Carb Breakfast Hash?
A lot of components in a typical breakfast hash are already low carb, which is always nice to hear.
Eggs, bacon, yes and yes. Both are keto friendly.
When making breakfast hash keto what you have to be careful of is the typical hash brown.
A lot of times breakfast hash calls for hash browns, hence the name. Hash browns are typically made using potatoes, which are not considered low carb.
Some good things to add to keto hash to give texture and additional flavor so you don’t miss the hash browns are things like turnips or cauliflower.
In this keto breakfast hash recipe I used both turnips and brussel sprouts.

I am a little confused about the carb count…parsips are actually quite high in carbs – 24 g per cup…

Hmm I use a software for calculating nutrition, but I would suggest going with something you trust.

Also, a tablespoon of olive oil has 119 calories, so the nutrition information seems really inaccurate? I’m not sure about this. . .

I believe the recipe calls for turnips, not parsnips.

OH MY GOODNESS! Thank you for a keto breakfast recipe that has no eggs! This was easy to prep, and I am going to double this recipe next time. I am trying to get low carb veggies, and the turnips and brussel sprouts were great in this meal.

So so very good!! Even if you are on the bench about even liking turnip, I believe this hash recipe will be a “go to” for you! Simply yummy!! I did choose to add the bacon in with the turnip at the beginning.
Sherri says
Psss….I did not add the Brussel sprouts because I cannot eat them. I love them but they do not love me!
