Light Creamy Cucumber Salad
Light Creamy Cucumber Salad is the perfect summer side dish, and a classic for barbecues, parties, and gatherings. This Light Creamy Cucumber Salad offers a healthier swap for regular mayo that offers the same great taste of mayo with the health benefits of avocado oil.
Serve this cucumber salad with Oven Fried Chicken and Air Fryer Fries for a great meal. And add some Homemade Lemonade to make it even better!
Have you ever had something so simple and so delicious you wanted to eat the whole bowl yourself? That was this Light Creamy Cucumber Salad for me. I loved the crispy crunchy texture of the cucumbers, whether it is an Easy Asian Cucumber Salad or this Greek Cucumber Salad and the creamy, delicious flavor of the sauce. Add in the distinctive taste of dill weed and some salt, and you’ve got a summer salad perfectly suited to grace the tables of all your summer gatherings.
I don’t know about you guys, but beyond the sunshine and time spent in the water, one of my favorite parts of the summer months is the food! Those garden fresh veggies, grilled meats, and of course all the fun salads and sides. But the problem I often run into is that many of those sides, from the potato salads to the macaroni salads, have mayo.
This Light Creamy Cucumber Salad is no exception. But don’t let that scare you away from it. Mayo tastes great, and enhances the flavor of foods. And if you pick the right mayo, you don’t have to worry! Here’s another healthy and flavorful take on cucumber salad.
I love the taste of regular mayo, but with the copious amounts of summer salads I consume, I wanted a healthier alternative. That is why I am so excited to share KRAFT Avocado Oil Mayo with you all. It is the perfect healthy swap. A healthier alternative that tastes like regular mayo, but is made with cage free whole eggs*, and avocado oil. And it contains 232 mg of Omega-3 ALA in every serving. Same taste but healthier fat: I call that a win!
KRAFT is the first to make Avocado Oil available at an affordable price point. In fact, the 22 oz and 30 oz bottles start at just $3.69, and the 12 oz bottle starts at just $2.69, and it can be found at most major retailers.
You can use KRAFT Avocado Oil Mayo just like you would any other mayo, on sandwiches, burgers, and the like. My favorite way to use it is in this Light Creamy Cucumber Salad.
The avocado oil is the perfect compliment to the garden fresh cucumbers and dill weed. In addition to the extremely beneficial fatty acid profile, good levels of antioxidants and other healthy compounds, it just plain tastes good.
My sister in law could not stop raving about how amazing this Light Creamy Cucumber Salad is. Trust me: she didn’t miss regular mayo at all! And I loved that I got the same great taste, but could feel good about eating an extra large helping of this Light Creamy Cucumber Salad.
