Crockpot S’mores Fondue

Chocolate, marshmallows, and delicious dippers, this crockpot s’more fondue is a quick dump and stir crock pot dessert. This is the dessert my chocolate dreams are made of. And it couldn’t be any easier to make.

Try this crockpot caramel fondue too!

crock pot smore fondue is chocolate-y and deliciousThis post has been updated with new photos, but is the same delicious recipe as before.

You guys this is like chocolate fondue, but at a whole new level! I love a good fondue. Chocolate, cheese, or broth. My kids love it too. One of the reasons we love fondue so much is because we are dippers at our house. We love to dip everything.  This Crockpot S’more Fondue was a particularly good fondue recipe because first, I made it in the crockpot. Second, it is made from chocolate, cream, and marshmallows (a favorite combination). And third, it is so easy! Simple is always best I find. Try it, you will love it!

You guys, this is such a smooth and tasty fondue, and another awesome thing about it is if you don’t eat it right away (highly unlikely) you can just reheat it a little to get it back to smooth and tasty.

Here’s how to make it happen!

Start by dumping milk chocolate, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and heavy whipping cream in a slow cooker, I used a 6 Quart slow cooker. But any crock pot will do. And then let Crockpot S’mores Fondue slow cook for an hour to and hour and a half. Every crock pot heats a little differently, so if yours runs hot, then less time, you don’t want that chocolate to burn.

Once it has cooked for a while, you need to stir it until it is nice and smooth.  Stir away, and maybe give it a little taste test. If you heated it too quickly you might need to add a tiny bit of heavy cream to the pot to smooth it out (I rarely do this, the recipe is great as written, but again, every slow cooker heats differently, so you can if you need to).

Slow Cooker Smores Fondue! you will think you died and went to chocolatey heaven

I mean, look at that luscious chocolate! Don’t you just want to dig in? I know I do! So grab some dippers and go to town. I love graham cracker sticks, marshmallows, and my personal favorite, strawberries! This Crockpot S’more Fondue is a dessert the whole family will love, and it is a fun one to eat with kids. However, it makes a fun date night in dessert too.

You can pop it in the microwave, or back in a crock pot. You could add a little milk or heavy cream if you felt like it needed it.
