It is that time of year again, Halloween! One of my favorite holidays! With all of the spook-tacular fun, delicious treats, and of course, costumes, and parties, and such.
With all the various spell-a-brations during this time of year, I love having fun recipes and treat ideas up my sleeve for spookily scrumptious goodies. But, with keeping with my motto in life, I like to keep things eazy peazy. Which is why today I am so excited to share this simple Halloween Crispy Cereal Treat recipe .
- It starts with a classic Crispy Cereal Treat recipe, which is delicious in and of itself.
- After making the treats, they are cut into 18 even sized bars.
- Each bar is dipped in melted chocolate or candy wafers. I used orange to make things fun and festive.
- After they get an even more festive twist as they are topped with a Butterfinger Peanut Butter Cups Skulls Fun-Size or if you can’t find them, use these chocolate molds to make your own chocolate skulls.
I love looking for fun Halloween treats, and when I saw these Butterfinger Skulls, I knew I had to get them and make something fun with them. But if you can find them, you can use these Chocolate Skull Molds to make your own. It is easy and fun.
Skulls are so great for Halloween, so I got both, and I knew we would be using them to top Halloween cupcakes, sugar cookies, and of course these chocolate covered crispy cereal treats. The possibilities are endless.
I am a sucker for these treats. They are super easy to make. A favorite treat.
My family really got into decorating with these fun molded chocolates.
I had so much fun with them, I decided I would definitely be including them in my Halloween party food spread, along with Brain Cheeseball, Skeleton Veggie Tray, and Monster Cookies!
I live in a neighborhood that has a lot of kids, and plenty of houses, and is one of those prime spots for trick or treating in our area. Which means I get a lot of visitors. I love having big parties, and try to do themed food to make it more fun. Especially foods that the kids can enjoy while also getting a little spooked.
