jack o lantern cheese ball

I cut the recipe in half because we weren’t making this for a party, just for fun for the family, and we certainly did not need more cheese than that! So feel free to do the same.

homemade cheese ball

Put your ingredients in a bowl.

cream cheese ballMix. Form it into a ball, then let refrigerate.

cheeseballAdd in your eyes and mouth. I found it is easiest to kind of cut out a little spot in the cheese ball for them.

crushed doritosCrush up your Doritos, and then roll the cheese ball into them. I let my kids do this part, and they had a lot of fun with it. You kind of have to press the chips into the side of the cheese ball.

jack o lantern cheese ballInsert a pickle into the top, then serve with crackers, pretzels, vegetables, etc.

For this activity, we chose to watch a classic: It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown
